Fent fell quiet. And waited for the song to be over, he was ready to leave.

"Lady Linnet? Yes she spoke a little, but then she fell back asleep."

Fawn noticed the sudden swing in Fent's mood. She placed her hand on his arm. "Fent, I'm sorry. It's just something I don't wish to discuss right now," she apologized.

Edwin got up. "Well, as there is nothing for me to do here, in going to go down to my parents. They'll be curious where I am," Edin said as he crossed to the door.

Richard turned red when Jenel tooted. (I don't say f-a-r-t. :p) He pretended he didn't hear (or smell) it.

"Its alright." Fent spun her one last time. ""Thank you for the dance." He bowed and quickly exited the dance floor, and left the castle.

"See you in a little while." Gwen smiled, and watched go.

"Bye." Peter called after him.
 
Fawn considered going after him, but thought better of it. She went to the edge and sat down.

Edwin went in search of a dance partner. He asked a duchess, who quickly agreed.

Linnet couldn't sleep deeply. She heard Edwin leave. Assuming Gwen had left as well, she reached out and grabbed Peter's hand.

Fent quickly mounted, and galloped his horse all the way back to Alnwick.

Gwen saw Linnet, and decided to leave the two alone, she went out into the gardens to sit.
 
Linnet opened her eyes. She hated being idle. "Is the dancing still going?" She asked Peter.

The song ended. Edwin escorted his partner to the edge, then went in search of his mother. He found her laughing with Audric. He tapped her lightly on the shoulder. "May I have the honor of a dance with you?" He asked her.
Mariah smiled. "I would be delighted to!" She nodded at Audric, then let Edwin take her to the floor.
