Gwen hurried to her room, so bath and dress before the meal.

Kat smiled. "Thanks, but I think I can manage?"

Peter saw Linnet approach.
 
Linnet casually looked around. She then focused on Edwin. "Was your hunting successful?"
"No," Edwin replied blunty. He mounted Alena's horse, then held his hand to help her up. "No, and we must be going now."
Linnet frowned. Things really must of gone badly for everyone to be in such a mood, she thought.

Richard nodded. He turned to go to his own room.

Richard stopped at his door and sighed. He entered his room and sat down on the bed. He opened a desk drawer and got out an ointment he kept in there for cuts and the like.
