*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

The dapple gray horse pressed his nose against Edwin's chest and brushed his nose against Alena's hand. He whinnied very softly and took another drink from the water trough. Sparrow whinnied at Lariah veyr loudly again, and she went over to pet her beautiful horse.
Edwin wasn't much interested in the horse. Horses were great and all, but they were especially his thing. "What do you want to name him, Lariah?" He asked his sister as he pushed the horse's head away.

Alena laughed at his distaste. "Well I think he's extraordinary."

Linnet walked slowly among her secret garden. She let her hand brush against all the delightful herbs. At one end of the enclosed garden was an old stone bench. She sat down on it and twirled a marigold between her fingers.

Maud watched Gwen give the stable hand and horse an apple. She smiled.

Lariah wanted to spit in her brother's face for pushing the horse away when it was just wanting food. Lariah gave the horse a handful of hay.
" Why don't you name him, since hes your horse." Lariah said more roughly than she wanted it to be. She whistled to Sparrow to go back to his stall and she closed and locked the door to his stall.

Lariah didn't go back to the paddock as she petted Sparrow's head and sat on a bench next to it. She rested her head against her horses neck and she sighed in exhaustion. She wasn't obsessed with horses! She just gave them more respect than her brother and toher people. And she wasn't here all the time! Lariah sighed again.

Alena looked warily between the two. Then she tried to smooth ot over. "Hmm. I have a feeling that the name he chooses just wont be acceptable." She looked at Edwin teasingly. "It just...wouldn't suit his sweet personality, yet still go with his stunning magnificent."

Edwin could sense his sister's irritation. He decided not to feed her already burning fire, so he quickly said, "Alright, fine, how about Argentum? It's Latin for silver, in case you didn't pay attention to our tutor," he said smartly.
