*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

(Hotspots rock! I'm on for a little bit. :))
Linnet turned her back to Gwen so as to hide her blushing face. "Wh–what do you mean?" She asked. She picked up te hairbrush and flipped it over in her delicate hands.
---
While Kat applied the ointment to her bruises, Richard opened another bottle. "How does your leg feel? Can you put weight on it?" He asked.
---
Fawn awoke. She now wandered through the castle of Alnswick. She was thoroughly bored and needed something to do. Something extraordinary, exciting, exhilarating–evil. A grin spread slowly over her face. She patted the pouch attached to her belt to make sure her beloved dagger was there. She ran down a hall and entered a small room.
---
Edwin drummed his fingers against the table. After a long silence, the queen said, "Your father and I are hosting a dinner in three day's time. The princess and a small party are invited."
Edwin looked up. "What to you expect to get out of this supper?" He asked suspiciously.
Mariah sighed. "Only for you and Princess Gwen to get to know one another better."
Edwin sighed irritably.
"Bear in mind at all times that you have it better than your father and I. I was seven years his junior, young and naive and a complete stranger to him when our marriage treaty was signed by our parents. It was hard, very hard, so don't think I don't understand," she explained exaggeratedly.
Edwin nodded. He had heard this speech numerous times. He got up and walked out of the hall, despite dinner having not been served yet.
Mariah didn't stop him.
Edwin walked quickly through the halls. He needed someone to talk to, explain his feeling. He decided to go find Jenel.

Gwen giggled. "Oh, you know the thing that you were going to tell me until I had to leave."

Kat shook her head. "Its fine...i think." She sighed. "I just don't want to be sitting around all day while everyone else is attending their duties."
