*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Linnet looked up. The poisoning had completely been forgotten to her. "Well I could say the same for you. You've been so–different? You're changed, Gwen. Ever since that treaty..." She trailed off, not wanting to make Gwen upset

Gwen tried to clear her head. "No even after that we were still close. Now you hardly ever even talk to me, YOUR BEST FRIEND. You wont tell me what is happening."

Linnet sighed. "Gwen, things are changing. You're to be married as soon as your and the prince's parents can settle on a date. The kingdoms will be at peace, for the first time in many years." She paused a moment and fiddled with a tassel on a pillow

Gwen stood up. "Well I just don't see what that has to do with you!" She flung open the door and stomped off in a very unlady like manor. If Linnet wasn't going to give her a straight answer, or any type of answer for that matter, then fine.

Linnet stood up and was about to go after her. She hadn't even finished talking! A small tear slid down her cheek. She sat down on the settee and stared into space. ' Poor Gwen. What must she think of her?'Linnet thought sorrowfully

Gwen sat down on her bed. She was so tired of her friend being like this. They had barely spoken in days, and now she was ignoring and keeping secrets? She got up and walked down the hallway, deliberately ignoring Linnets open door.
