(It's ok. Sorry I keep correcting you, but the hawks would be in their special housing (news) tethered with leather tongs to posts. There's even a servant just for taking care of the birds. I apologize if it sounds like I'm just being a smarty pants. I'm not trying to be at all. That time period I'm quite fond of

Lariah thought of the last time she went arching. She had hit her target perfectly, but to hard. It went through the bulls eye and it hit a grumpy, rude maid in the butt. Edwin and Lariah had laughed so hard they couldnt breath.

"Sure," he said grinning. "You can use one of the Merlins. They're easy," he explained. "My father gave me my falcon, Saxum, a year ago for my birthday. She's a Peregrine."
