*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Linnet smiled. "We'll just have to see," she said.
--
Edwin opened the door for Alena.
---
Katrina sighed. She went to the fire and added a log.
---
Richard hurriedly left. Maud glared at him.
---
Fawn took a peek into the kith hen. Servants were busy preparing the evening meal for the royal family. She chuckled to herself, then continued along.
"I'll go cut some more wood or something" Gavin said, standing up. He desperately needed to break the awkwardness.
----
"Richard!" Adrienne called down the hall "You helped me when I couldn't find Gwen, now help me keep her here!"

Edwin gave a solemn smile in return. He shut his door.
---
Katrina nodded. "I guess it will just be the two of us for stew," she said.
--
Richard didn't hear the girl, least he pretended he didn't. He went to his room.
--
Linnet stood up. "I know, I know you're hating it. But what other options do you really have?" She asked. "Run away?" She joked.

Gavin took his frustration out on a fallen tree he found in the woods. Here, no one was watching. The tree would never tell anyone about the few tears he dared shed. He focused on his task, demolishing logs with his axe. He was accomplishing something, and that was good.

"Richard!" Adrienne stamped, running after him "You can't just ignore me, I'm the princess!"

Edwin gave a solemn smile in return. He shut his door.

Gwen laughed like it was a joke. "Yeah. That would be crazy."
She plopped down on her bed exhausted, waiting for Linnet to leave so that she could meet Edmund.

Katrina sliced up some veggies for the stew. The aroma filled the cabin.
---
Richard shut his door, bolted it, then went to the window.
--
Edmund finally shoved the vial down into the sack after much debate. Now all that was left was to wait.
--
Linnet went to the door. "Now, I must leave you. Peter is waiting for me in the courtyard," she sais

Gavin stacked up a large stack of chopped wood, made sure he looked dignified, and took an armload into the cabin to Katrina.
-----
Adrienne pounded on Richard's door "I will report this to the king!" She stamped. But, she didn't go to the king. Instead, she planted her feet in the hallway, flung her head back, and screamed for all she was worth "MAUD!!!!!"

Katrina turned around. "Oh, wow ye did chop a lot of wood," she observed.
---
Maud ran down the hall as fast as a 49 year old laundress could. "Princess!! What is the matter?! A snake?! And assassin?! WHAT?!" She screeched.

Richard rolled his eyes. He opened the door. "Hello, princess. What might you be needing today?" He asked.
---
Linnet grinned. "Thank you. I just hope you will be as happy as I," she said.
---
Edwin rang for his page. The two conversed for a while, then the boy departed.
---
Mariah walked gracefully down the hallway. She was still humming, a sweet tune to the passer-by, but it had a rather evil sound to it if one listened more closely.
---
Edmund sent his page with a message to Alnwick castle.

"Daddy won't listen to me!" Adrienne stamped "Gwen has to move to a far away land unless we do something to change the rules! I need you to help me talk Daddy into it" She smiled in her sweetest, most innocent way, staring at them with large blue eyes "Well?"
-----
"Well, I'm not much of a stew maker and have gotta do something to earn my keep" Gavin joked, trying to stay lighthearted "Anything else I can do?"
