Gwen nodded, and quickly left.

Redd quieted his dog as they entered their camp. He watched at Gwen left over the hill. "Edmund?"
 
Edmund turned around abruptly. Pulling a dagger from his belt, he put it to Redd's throat. "Who are you and what do you want?" He demanded.

Edwin froze. He turned slowly around. "Ah, Jenel. It is only you. What is it?"

Linnet dismounted. Richard did likewise. The two went to the castle entrance.

Mariah chuckled to herself. How ignorant the king was, she thought to herself.

Fawn followed Redd. She dismounted and ducked into some brush and watched Redd go to Edmund. Reds was obviously up to no good.

Katrina dressed, and descended the ladder. "Alena? Gavin? Anyone in here?"
 
Gavin awoke with a start and sat bolt upright "Oh, hi Katrina...where's Alena?"
(So much for staying up and guarding the cabin!

Read used his finger to steer the blades tip away from his throat. "If you will kindly move that away, I will inform you."

Gwen heaved the bucket of water back up the hill. She heard another male voice, and quietly stop to watch through the bushes.
 
Glaring, Edmund moved the blade slowly from Redd's throat. "Well? What do you want?" He demanded.

Fawn saw Gwen through the woods. She picked up a stone and threw it at a tree to distract Gwen for a second.

Katrina crossed her arms. "You tell me. After all, ye were supposed to be a guarding," she teased.
 
"Oh, well, right, and I was" Gavin defended laughingly "For a long time...but you know how it goes...soft rug warm fire and bam...where IS Alena?"

Read shrugged. "Oh nothing. But the queen wanted me to give you this." He handed Edmund the envelope.
