*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

"Okay," Katrina smiled. She hadn't considered yet where Gavin had kept the horse previously, or how long he had had t or what it's name was.
Having already eaten a small bowl of oatmeal, she began tidying up the counters.

Gavin crept up to the horse, offering him an apple he had snuck from the market. He stroked the horses head, waiting patiently for Katrina.

Katrina, basket over one arm and the pail of ice water over the other, exited the cabin. She set the frozen bucket by the door so the ice would hopefully melt so they could use the bucket later. "Beautiful steed you've got, looks like it belongs to a king it's so fine," she said.

"Thanks" Gavin said, stroking the horse "I haven't had him very long, but he's a great horse"

Katrina set the carefully on a post. "He's so lovely," she said, stroking the gelding's shiny neck. "Do you 'ave a saddle, or are we to ride him bareback?" She asked

(The horse is black, right?)

"I forgo...I mean, I don't have a saddle" Gavin quickly corrected himself "I can borrow one from a friend if you like, but he lives a good ways away"

(Yep)

Katrina put the basket back on her arm. "No, no need to do that," she said. "I'm used to riding bareback anyway."

Edmund nodded. He led the horse away from the shed and onto the dusty road.
--
Emilee did likewise. "Tis very nice of ye to come," she batted her eyelashes. "I hate for ye to miss out on necessary things or such, but I'm pleased to 'ave the company."

Gwen wobbled on top the horse, but didnt fall. Her fears slowly started to ease.

Fent laughed. "I dont exactly have much to do at the moment." His expression darkened. "Hes not going to hit you."

Edmund began walking faster, the horse doing likewise. He smiled up at Hwen.

Emilee smiled sweetly at Fent. She looked away, deep in thought, not sure wether she ought to tell him or not.
