*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Peter sighed. "I'm sorry. I'm just worried."
"I'm worried as well. But we can't let the worry overcome us," Linnet replied. "Tomorrow at this time we shall be getting ready for the best part of our lives–at least, I hope it will be the best," she chuckled.

(Alena be where?)

Jane and the queen talked and caught up on stuff.

Maud knocked on Gwen's door. She hoped Gwen wouldn't question about Linnet's whereabouts.

Peter frowned. "That's the problem. Edwin will never have that. He will be forced to love somebody he does not."

(kitchen?)
"Sadly, we can't really help Edwin or Gwen," Linnet sighed. She really did wish to help Gwen, but knew there was nothing she could do to affect the treaty.

After they had been through formalities and all the proper greetings and such, Jane ventured a risky subject. "Your Highness, when my parents recieved the letter from you requesting me to come here, my mother was very happy. But my father was quite upset, and he usually is when Edinburgh is mentioned. Might you know the cause of his anger?" She asked.
Mariah stiffened. "That is a subject I do not wish to approach right now," she bluntly replied. She signaled a servant to come. "Take Lady Jane to her room to ready herself for supper," she commanded.

Maud *knock knock*

(I thought they were outside. Idk I'm so out of it)
:)hugs school?)

Linnet stopped in mid step. "Did you tell anyone you were going somewhere?" She asked Peter

Edmund leaned over and looked out the window at the two. He had a few guards posted to keep him informed if someone were to unexpectedly arrive. He couldn't risk Peter and Linnet being found out, especially here

Jane sat down on the cushioned stool and waited patiently while the maid took a painfully long time adjusting her hair.
--
"Gwen? Are you In there?" Maud asked. She turned the knob slowly

(no. Lack of sleep. Partly my fault. Partly the fact that I am unable to)

Peter shook his head. "I didnt think to."

Gwen jumped at the sound of the knock. "Umm...you may enter?"

"Not even a note?" Linnet asked.
She remembered the note she had left Gwen and hoped the princess had read it by now

Maud slowly opened the door. "Your highness, do you need anything?"
