*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Katrina adjusted Gavin's arm. The nurse still hadn't come back, so it looked like she'd have to do this on her own.

"Him? Oh, the thief?" Jane asked casually.

Edwin heard voices in the hallway by his and Cliffton's rooms. "Cliff? You here?" He asked, coming up the steps.

Mariah sat down on her fancy smancy throne. She stared intently at a wall hanging and sat, deep in thought. She hadn't seen Audric since morning. Of all the handsome princes and royals she had to be married to, it was Audric. Sure, she loved him now, but when she was first told he was to be her husband, she sulked for weeks. Life was dull as his queen; with little to pass the time, thus all the parties and feasts she hosted.
--
Maud shrugged. "I believe he left this morning," she said.
--
(Kat is Edin or Aln?)
--
Fawn stared into the fire, half listening to Edmund, who was attempting to make conversation.

Redd picked up a piece of glass and flicked it away. "Yeah. He will try this again. I shouldn't have let him get away this time."

"What?!" Gwen shrieked.

(umm?)

Jane nodded. "Yes, you shouldn't have," she said solemnly.
---
Maud took a step back. "Yes, your highness. He left not long after Linnet d–" she stopped, when she realized that Gwen hadn't let her see the letter, so she shouldn't of known linnet was gone. "He left this morning, taking his horse and a rather full bag."
---
Linnet hummed to herself while she fixed her hair. Edmund had assigned a maid to her, but she didn't want to bother going and finding the woman.

Gavin leaned much too heavily on Katrina. He started through the door, hoping it wasn't much farther.
---
"Edwin! Someone took my candlestick!" Cliffton ran out to his brother "I'm being robbed everywhere I turn! The palace is overrun with thieves!"

"And you could have done amy better?!" Read asked angrily.

Gwen sat down on her bed. "He left?" She asked on the verge of tears.

Katrina closed the door behind them, not without much trouble.

Edwin frowned. "Haha very funny. Father says you get first choice of the finest colts come spring," he said.

Jane smirked. "I was kidding. And no, I couldn't of. But maybe I could of. I mean, you aren't exactly pretty," she replied. She did enjoy a good argument, and knew how to get someone started. Handsome men were no exception.
---
Maud closed the door. "Yes he left."

Richard walked slowly through the courtyard. Inside was drafty and boring.
--
Emilee smiled to herself when the thunder stopped. She could deal with the rain.

Gavin hobbled along.
---
"But I want Clyde!" Cliffton stamped, as if it were Edwin's fault.
They finally made it to the castle' apothecary. Katrina knew her way around it and what was where because her mother had worked there for a short time. She helped Gavin over to a wooden bench against one wall.

Edwin rolled his eyes. "You, young sir, are immature and need to learn to be grateful. You're getting the best colt in the kingdom!" He exclaimed.
--
"Let's try this again," Emilee said to herself. She picked up the soaked bag and headed for the town.

Gavin sunk down to the bench. He leaned back gently. He didn't want to move for at least five days.
---
"Clyde was the best" Cliffton crossed his arms.

Katrina went to browse amongst the shelves for the herbs and ointments she would need.
---
"At least you get to choose your new horse," Edwin said firmly. He was, in fact, jealous of the fact that Cliffton was given options and choices. With tutors, horses, pets, friends, he always got to choose. Edwin, on the other hand, had to do as the king and queen commanded. He had to be friends with who they told him to befriend. He was given a horse and told to ride and care for it.
---
"Fawn, did you hear me?" Edmund asked. Fawn shook her head and looked at him. "Hm? I'm sorry, I was thinking," she apologized.
