Linnet pulled her cloak closer around herself. "I don't think it best to tell Gwen, either. Or anyone, for that matter." Taking Peter's hand, Linnet leaned her head on his shoulder. "Oh, Peter. I wish this could be simpler. I wish we could just be together and no one would tell us what to do, and when to do things."

Richard ignored her, continuing to the castle.

Mariah nodded slowly. "Yes, why of course! But I thought we had decided Edwin must be married first. To Gwen."

Jane looked behind her to see how far Cliffton was, just in time to see him go splashing face first into a puddle. "Cliffton!" She turned her horse and ride over to where he was. Edwin, not without some irritation, went to see what was the matter.

Gavin sighed. He constantly wished she didn't have so much to do, and that she could be there more often. But he forced a smile "okay" He nodded "See you later" but in his mind, he knew he probably wouldn't.

"Okay" Adrienne nodded seriously "I will find her as soon as I've finished my cake" She shoveled one more bite into her mouth.

Cliffton got to his feet and looked at his mud-covered clothes, imagining how mad his mother would be if she found out "I'm fine" He lied, ringing some of the mud out of his shirt and limping back over to Clyde.

Katrina hesitated a moment, then ascended the steps. Why couldn't she just tell him?

Edwin stifled a laugh, knowing it would probably completely destroy Cliffton's dignity at the moment. He decided to let Jane do the talking.
"Are you injured?" Jane asked, genuinely concerned.
 
Genevieve decided to take s stroll down to the river, when she spotted a guy (Alex) sitting on a rock "Hi" She waved.

Emilee climbed up on the fence post to wait while Daisy ate her hay. Her thoughts involuntarily turned to Fent, the young man she had met a couple months ago at her father's house. She wondered what had happened to him.

Anna stirred the chamomile and lavender flowers around in the tea cups.

Maud took Adrienne's small pile of dirty clothes down to the laundry.

"You're bleeding," Jane said as she got down from her own horse. Edwin rolled his eyes at his brother's antics. Nonetheless, he dismounted his horse and went over to Cliffton.

Adrienne went up to Gwen's door and knocked "Gwen?" She called sweetly.

Cliffton looked down and saw that Jane was right. He groaned mostly in annoyance and leaned against Clyde.

Jane pulled out a handkerchief that was conveniently stored in her sleeve. "Here," she said, holding out the lacy piece of satin.
"Do you think you can get on your horse and ride back to the castle?" Edwin asked, ready to get going again.

Cliffton pressed the handkerchief to his leg and winced, but nodded and slowly pulled himself up onto Clyde b

"Are you asking to leave?" Peter asked.

Kat sighed, she had brought the downfall to her victory. She turned away from town. Pie didn't seem so sweet by herself.

Audric shrugged. "Whatever you wish."
