*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

( dont you  mean Edmund?)
Lariah had gotten home safely and was now in her spacious, fancy room. Her parents had not noticed her exit or return, just by her luck. She had changed into a comfortable blush coloured dress. A maid had just arrived with tea and biscuits. Lariah half-heartedly nibbled on a rye-tasting biscuits and stared blandly at the blurry, rain-stained window. She delt distractedl
(of course I did   )

(Can the maid be Katrina?)

Edmund, having finished most of the invitations, went over to the fire. He stood there for several minutes gazing at the fire, deep in thought.

( sure!)

Lariah was just settling into space when there was a knock on the door. She jumped up and look a deep breath. " Come in" she said in the classic, refined voice her mother taught her to do so well. Lariah always hated being that 'damsel' but if she wanted to be married and have a promising future, she would have to stick to her acting.

Katrina entered, bearing a stack of clean sheets for the bed. "Oh, your highness, I wasn't aware that you were in here," she apologized.
-------
Fawn lay on her belly, her chin set on her crossed arms. She watched a cockroach cross from one end of her room to the other, dragging with it a crumb of cake she must of dropped sometime recently. When the cockroach disappeared under a slat of wood, Fawn found the floor boring and flipped onto her back to view the ceiling. She immediately spotted a spider weaving a web in the corner. That was slightly more exciting than the roach, so she remained on her back and watched it.
------
Redd checked out his door to see if anyone was near. Seeing no one, he closed his bedroom door and locked it. He grabbed a couple of his daggers and passed the time away throwing them at the wall, aiming for a circle he had drawn with coal.
------
Lightning suddenly illuminated the room. Startled, Edmund broke out of his thoughts. The log that the servant had added a while ago had burnt completely, causing the room to grow chilly. Edmund grabbed a book off of his desk and headed for his bed room.

Katrina entered, bearing a stack of clean sheets for the bed. "Oh, your highness, I wasn't aware that you were in here," she apologized.
Lariah turned around to see that it was the kind maid, Katrina. " No need to apologize Katrina. Thank you for the tea and biscuits, they gave me something to hang onto until dinner. And just leave the bedsheets there, please." Lariah smiled and turned ehr head as she heard Katrina shuffling around. Her head still felt cloudy and dull.

Alfric looks down at himself and smiles contently, Alex's clothes are much fancier than his own. He walks briskly back to the other room and collects his clothes from the floor. He pulls a chair out and places it by the fire, draping his damp shirt and trousers over the back. He felt so clean and warm, and the fire was so comforting. He pulls another chair from the table and slumps down into it.
I'll just close my eyes for a moment while I wait for my clothes to dry..
He crosses his arms and leans back. He can hear the rain thrashing angrily against the walls, but he's safe in here by the warmth of the fire. He closes his eyes and yawns, and soon he's fast asleep.

Alex opened the door to the knight barracks. Shaking the water from his curly mop of hair, he stumbled in. He walked to the very end of the room, the sleeping man going u noticed. Alex slipped of his wet shoes, and shuffled through his chest for a dry pair of cloths. 'I know are in here, they were when I left.' He must have forgotten to lock his chest, but the only people who could come in the knight quarts were a few maids and his fellow knights. Who would have taken them. Especially when not many people had a stature like his.

"Yes," Mariah said. She sat down across from Peter. "To put it bluntly, Peter, you have been living under our roof for quite some time now. I think it high time you began the moving out process, starting with a wife," she explained hurriedly.
------
Edwin, equally as surprised, jumped as well. "Alena! I was actually looking for you. Not in this room, of course."
------
Edmund called for a servant. "Please take this first thing in the morning to Edinburgh," he told the man, giving additional instructions on where to place it exactly.
-----
Linnet watched the rain trickling down the window, drop by drop. It was so dark and gloomy outside. Hopefully Peter had made it home safely. "Have you seen Gwen?" She asked suddenly. Maud looked up. "I believe she is with her sister. Shall I have her come in when she's done having tea?" She asked.
Linnet nodded. "Yes, please."
-------
Redd worked his dagger across a stone to smooth it. When he was done, he set it aside and leaned back on his bed. He wondered what had happened to that boy , and if he had a place to go.

Peter frowned. "Isn't there something else I could do?" He asks worriedly.

Alena tucked a stray piece of hair behind her ear. "Was there something I could help you with?"

Katrina nodded and curtsied. "If that will be all, miss, then I'll leave. Are you sure you don't need anything?" She asked.
-----
Redd cursed to himself as a dagger went through the wall, becoming very stuck. He tried to pry it out but with no success. Hopefully the room next door was unoccupied right now and no one would care.
------
Mariah, with a smart smile on her face, shook her head. "No, not really."
--------
Edwin shrugged. "I just wanted to, uh, see you," he grinned sheepishly.

"Sir, I believe you know exactly what I mean. Edwin will be married this year, and there will little to no reason for you to remain here," Mariah said bluntly.

Jane looked around the physicians office, but there was no sign of Cliffton. She headed for the hall.
-------
Edwin shrugged. "I was just...looking for you." He shoved his hands in his pockets and walked across the room to Alena.
-------
Linnet curled up on her bed and tried to sleep, but couldn't.

Maud knocked on Gwen's door. "Your highness? Are you in here?"

Alena's cheeks turned a deel rosie color. "Oh."
