Edwin realized it was raining. He was drenched and so was Gwen. He sat up against the log that had caused all this trouble. "How did you get all the way out here? Did you walk?" He asked quickly

Gwen blushed. "Well. I HAD a horse, but them the lightning scared him off. It wasn't my usual, I had never ridden this one before."

Edwin chuckled. "Yeah, pretty much what happened to me. I rode that new horse, Argentum. Young and green, and apparently not used to jumping 2 & 1/2 foot tall logs. That branch right there?" He pointed to a branch above the log, "I believe it knocked me out." He laughed at himself, despite the pouring rain and the girl he claimed to hate.

She giggled. "Mine reared." She looked at him. At least he was handsome.... "How long have you been here."
"I have no idea," he muttered. He patted the ground beside him. "Come closer, there's at least something to lean against and the leaves above us keep off some of the rain," he offered.

"Thanks." Gwen sat down next to him, their arms were barely touching. "I was on my way to Edinburgh, I guess its a good thing that I was." She smiled softly.

"Yes, very good," he said bluntly. He looked up at their leafy canopy. There was still a good deal of rain getting to them. "When the rain slows down, if you feel ok we can begin walking to Edinburgh," he said.
(Is you know who gonna come?)

(yeah)
Peter looked around. He was holding the reigns of the mysterious horse, hoping to find the owner. Then he heard laughing, and started walking towards the general area of the sound.

"Well I was going t-." She stopped, not wanting to mention it anymore. "Nevermind."
