(Yay! Haha, thanks. I was trying to think realistically. I also made her description like Edwin's. He's gotta look like one of his parents!)

Maria (oh, btw, it's pronounced with the I sounding like I, not E) rode her Arabian horse at a gentle trot. (Remember, Edwin said they were gone for the day) She and Audric had been away all day, and we're just now returning. She looked ahead a few horses at her husband. A smile lit her face.

Audric scowled. That boneheaded boy of his was going to mess up his treaty. Why couldn't he be more like Lariah, graceful, intelligent, and obedient. Instead he had gotten stuck with a selfish, unskilled boy with too much opinion.

(Oh haha )

Maria sped her horse up so she'd be beside Audric. She placed her slim gloved hand on his big strong hand. "What's on your mind?" She asked sweetly.

Edwin called one of the servants over to clear the table. "Well, um, it's getting dark out. My parents should be home soon. Would you like me to escort you home now, or wait so you can greet my parents?" He asked. Inside he secretly hoped she'd want to leave now.

Gwen saw the pleading look on his face. "If you wish me to leave, then I will go." She smiled sweetly, not wanting to cause him more stress.

He looked over at his beautiful wife. "I think Edwin is going to mess up this treaty." He replied.
Maria felt shocked. "Our dear Edwin? Mess up your treaty?" She asked, surprised. "What makes you accuse my dear boy of such a thing?!"

"Well, I, um, there are things I need to do before the evening is gone," Edwin explained, partly lying.
