*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

(Oh whatever. :p)

Richard went down to the kitchens to see when supper would be served.
--
Linnet looked about to make sure no one was watching, then led Fent through a back entrance she knew about. "Let's get some dry clothes first," she suggested.

"Alright," Fent replied, following Linnet.

Fent nodded. If she didn't come back, he'd have no trouble tracking her down.
She hurried to her room and changed into a dry gown. She grabbed her heavy cloak, then hurried to one of the servant's rooms. She dug through the drawers frantically, fearful what should happen if she didn't return to Fent in time. Finally she found a dry man's outfit.
--
Maud heard a noise in a room. She opened the door. It was Lady Linnet! "Linnet! Where have you been? I've been searching for you for the past half hour!" Maud exclaimed worriedly.
--
Linnet spun around, hiding the clothes behind her back. "I--was, just um walking!" She said hurriedly.
--
"Oh! Walking? In this weather? Preposterous!"
---
"I enjoy it!" Linnet said quickly
--
"Well, never mind that, I need you to come down for your fitting.'
--
"Fitting?" Linnet asked
--
"Yes, your new ball gown," Maud replied.
--
"Oh, that fitting," Linnet tried to act casual.
--
"Come, come, child," Maud beckoned
--
"May I go, um, put my cloak away first?"
--
"Yes, I suppose so," Maud answered..
--
Linnet hurried from the room down to Fent. She was terrified of what he would say for her taking so long.

Fent glanced at Linnet. "Why did you take so long?" He asked, glancing around cautiously.
