*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Edwin hurried down the steps. He went to find Gwen. She was still talking to his parents? 'Wow', he thought. 'She took what I said seriously'. He went up to her.

Audric smiled when he saw Edwin. "Ah. Edwin. There you are."
-------
Gwen put on her perfected fake smile when he walked up.

Edwin bowed at the waist. "Yes, Father, here I am." He turned to Gwen. "Would you care to dance?" He asked.
"Certainly." She smiled at Audric and Mariah. "It was good to see you again." She curtsied and then followed Edwin.
-----
Audric turned to Mariah. "See I told you he would come to like her."

Edwin led Gwen by the hand to the floor to dance.
--
Mariah sighed. "Yes, of course. You were right, and you usually are," she smiled brightly.

"She'll live," Edwin assured Gwen. "Peter is up there with her now. Jenel says it was a case of arsenic. Thankfully Linnet didn't drink much, otherwise it would of been fatal." He spun Gwen around, then reeled her in for a dip.

Gwen came back up. "Good." She looked at Edwin. "Thank you." She said softly.

"You were practically invisible," Fawn replied as she bit into the cookie. *insert disgusting chewing noises here* :)lau)

Redd barely let her finish her cookie, before grabbing her by the hand and sweeping her onto the dance floor, not caring to ask.
Fawn gasped as Redd pulled her into his arms. Outwardly, she appeared disgusted. On the inside, she was so very pleased. "I'm surprised you can dance," she said mockingly to him.
