*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

"Um, maybe going for a horse ride." Before Gwen could interrupt, she quickly said, "You should see if Prince Edwin is busy tomorrow, maybe he'll take you on the promised rabbit hunt," Linnet suggested.
"I wa-" Gwen stopped, and thought for a moment. "Is there something you aren't telling me?" She knew that there was, but she didn't want to upset her.

Linnet looked at Gwen. "If there was something important that I thought you should know, I would tell you," she said.

"Oh.Ok then." Gwen looked at her food, and continued eating. She quickly finished and started walking back to her room.

(She didn't mean it rudely. This sounds eerily familiar to a conversation between Peter and Edwin earlier in the story.)
Linnet noted the sudden change in Gwen's mood. She got up when Gwen got up and followed her. "Gwen! Wait! There actually is something I need to um, tell you." Her voiced trailed of.

Gwen waved her hand. "No if you don't want to that's fine. I'm not going to make you tell me."

"No, I know you wouldn't force me to tell you. But I want to tell you, because you're like a sister to me and because you should know. Pe–", Linnet was interrupted by Maud.
"Your highness," Maud said as she curtsied to Gwen. "You are wanted in the sewing room for a fitting for your new petticoats," She explained.

"Thank you Maud." She turns to Linnet. "I will see you later." She turned and quickly followed Maud down the corridor.

Linnet cursed, then quickly covered her mouth and prayed no one heard. She went up to her room to ready herself for bed. Maud was occupied, so she'd have to do it by herself.

Gwen was exhausted by the time they had finished her fitting. "Why must they do this do late?" She walked sleepily to her room, trying not to think of Linnet. 'What was she going to say?...No it doesn't matter she didn't want to tell you.'
