*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Linnet smiled in acknowledgement. "It's okay, I know you have things to do."
--
Richard bowed quickly. "I know you're gonna hate this as much as I already do, but your parents wish for me to accompany you." He frowned
--
"He is waiting in the foyer for you," the servant urged Alena.

Peter sighed in relief. "Thank you for being do understanding. He walked his horse back out to the field, and looked to make sure Linnet was following.
-----
Gwen sighed. "Well then you may inform my parents that you will bot be joining me. There are plenty of others who may, but it will not be you. Good day Sir Richard."
------
Alena snapped out of her thoughts. "Oh. Yes. Umm. I guess I'll be one my way then." She scurried out of the room, to the foyer.

Linnet smiled at Peter. She put her horse into a trot to keep up.
--
Richard sighed. "Princess, I have to go with you. It's my job," he said.
--
Edwin saw Alena. "Good, you've come. My parents wish for me to take along a servant, "in case" they say." He turned to the door.

Peter quickly galloped his horse towards Edinburgh. He had assumed that Linnet was on her way to Alnwick.
-----
Gwen was becoming impatient. "Sir Richard I assure you that your services are not needed. Now I'm ordering you. GO HOME!"
-------
Alena gave him a tight smile. 'In case of what?' She thought.

Linnet sighed. She turned her horse towards Alnwick. They slowly walked that way.
--
"Fine. Fine then, I'll return and tell your parents you defied their orders. Eh?" Richard asked impatiently.
--
"No clue. Anyway, let's go. Gwen is waiting," Edwin replied. He opened the door.

Peter galloped all the way to the castle, just in time for a beautiful blonde women to arrive in her carriage.
----
Gwen rolled her eyes. "You do that." She turned, leaving Richard.
-----
Alena quietly followed Edwin. How did he know. She really didn't want to do this.

Linnet's horse plodded slowly along. Linnet sighed. She put her hood on, as there was a chilly breeze.
--
Richard nodded. He mounted his horse and galloped off towards Alnwick. He needed to send another knight after Gwen, and he knew just who to send.
--
Edwin bowed to Gwen. "Princess Gwen, how are you this fine afternoon?" He asked as he mounted his horse.
A servant brought a saddled jennet to Alena.

Peter smiled broadly as the tall blonde women stepped out. "Marilyn! Its so good to see you."
-------
Gwen smiled. "I am doing well. You?"

Linnet heard hooves behind her. She halted her horse as Sir Richard rode up.
"Lady Linnet, I did not expect to see you in these woods," he said.
Linnet looked at him. "I was just on a short ride–by myself" she lied.
Richard nodded. "May I escort you back to the castle?" He asked.
"I suppose so," Linnet replied.
They put their horses into a brisk trot.
--
"Fairly well," Edwin replied bluntly. He put his horse into a trot.

Gwen followed. She looked over her shoulder at the servant. "Is that the same girl as last time...the one who is like a sister to you?"

Linnet tried to ignore Rochard, to no avail.
Richard was directly beside her. He posted beautifully, Linnet thought. She sighed.
"What's the matter, your Ladyship?" He asked.
Linnet glanced at him. "Nothing," she replied. She sped her horse up.
--
Edwin looked at Gwen. "Yes, her name is Alena," he said. He quickly changed the subject. "Nice bow, you have."
--
Fawn mounted her horse and ride off to the woods. She hoped that maybe there would be someone there–someone in particular, of course.
