*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

"No, dear. I just hear him bellowing your name," Maid replied as she went down the hall.
Without looking up, Fawn replied, "Hello Mister–what's your name?" She asked innocently.
--
Linnet muttered something to herself, then it her horse into a canter. Her dress was stiff from the water and sun. Moshe pulled her cloak closer around herself. Her thoughts turned to Peter. She sighed.

Kat smoothed her shirt. "I will go immediately."
-------
Redd laughed at her attempt at seeming indifferent. "What are you up to all alone out here. Were you...looking for someone?"

Richard ran into the hall where Maud had jsut left. He stopped in front of Kat.
---
Fawn looked Redd in the eye. "I was simply going for a ride," she retorted.
---
Linnet handed her horse's reins to a stable boy. She entered teh castle.

"Oh. Sir Richard. You were looking for me?" Kat looked at him hopefully.
-----
Redd snorted. "Oh yes of course. A ride...thats all. How will of me to think otherwise."

"Yes. I need you to go after Princess Gwen. She refused me as her guard, and the king and queen will freak if she's alone with the Prince. They went to Eastern Woods to rabbit hunt," Richard explained.
--
Fawn smirked. "Yes, a ride. Now, if you don't mind, I intend to finish my ride."
--
Linnet ran up the spiral staircase hurriedly.
--
Edwin slowed his horse's pace so Alena could catch up. "We're almost to the best hunting place," he said to Gwen.

Kat frowned. That wasn't what she had hoped he'd say. "Why can't they be alone?"
-----
"Ok. Have a nice RIDE." Redd whistled for his horse.
-----
Gwen slowed her pace to match his. The servant girl was really slowing them down.
-----
Alena frowned. "Umm. I...uh..." She really didn't want to be here. "I dont feel so well." It was sort of the truth. Being there with the two of them made her stomach swirl.

Richard ignored her confused face. "Well? You better get going. They will have already reached the hunting area by now," he told Kat impatiently.
--
Fawn thought quickly of what to do to keep Redd here. "Don't follow me," she said slyly.
--
Edwin halted his horse beside Alena. "Are you are you don't feel well?" He asked kindly. He did not want to be left alone with Gwen. It was so awkward for him.
--
Linnet closed her bedroom door behind her. She heard Maud calling, but ignored it. She quickly changed into a clean gown and sat down on her bed. She got up and paced the room, then went to her window and looked out.

Kat sighed and walked past Richard towards the doors.
-------
Redd mounted his horse. "I was going to say the same thing."
-------
Alena gave him a tight smile. "I-I just dont."
--------

Richard followed Kat out. "Your horse is already saddled and waiting for you at the stable," he said.
--
Fawn mounted, then turned her horse towards the castle of Alnwick.
--
Edwin sighed. He turned towards Gwen.
--
Mariah entered the foyer. She looked out the window at Peter and a woman.

Kat saddled, and headed for Edinburgh at a steady pace.
----
Redd turned towards the river.
------
Peter hugged the Marilyn. "Its been so long. Where is he?" She went to the carriage, and brought out a dark curly haired baby. Peter smiled.

Richard looked over his shoulder at Kat as she rode off. After putting his horse away, he went to his room.
--
Fawn frowned. Her horse plodded on at a very slow pace.
--
Mariah opened the door and came out. "Peter! Where have you been all day? Edwin searched this castle high and low for you!" She exclaimed.
(Dark. Curly. Haired. Baby. *gasps*)
