*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Edmund shrugged. "While I gather wood for a small fire, you take this pot and go fill it with water from the stream," he said.

Katrina added a log to the fire. "Are ye all right?" She asked Gavin

Gwen took the pot, and almost dropped it. It was heavier than she had thought. She quickly scurried down to the stream. After filling the pot, Gwen stopped to sit on the bank and watch the moons reflection dance.

"Not really" Gavin admitted "Did they ever talk about a thief? At the castle?"

Edmund chuckled to himself at Gwen. He arranged the wood just so in the spot where he planned in building the fire. After several tries, he finally got it lit and burning bright.

Katrina shook her head. "I don't know."

Katrina shook her head. "I don't know."

Gwen put her boots back on, and headed towards the camp site. "You got the fire started."

Edmund nodded. He pulled out two thick blankets from the packs on his saddle, and spread one on each side of the fire. "I hope you find that comfortable enough," he said.

Gwen nodded frowning. "It will do." She said politely. "Thank you. You didn't have to do this, but you did."

Edmund shrugged. He looked around the camp site, then sat down on his makeshift cot. He dug around in a satchel until he found what he was looking for. "Here," he said, holding out a roll and an apple.

Gwen smiled, and politely took the food. "We can get more tomorrow." She ate in silence, watching the flames flicked shaded of orange and red.
