Katrina jumped up. She went over to the window and looked out at the moonlit yard. She turned to Gavin. "It looks like the guards have arrived," she said dismally.

Jade entered her hood making her face so you could not see it. " I am here with royal business. This girl is to stay with you. " She looked at Gavin then Katrina.

Katrina raised an eyebrow. She recognized the young maid, who she knew served the prince. "And you are?" She asked the Jade.

jade removed her hood. Her hair fell down her back.(really dramatic like out of a slow motion scene lol ) "I am Jade a knight, and now a rebel."

Katrina crossed her arms. "When the princess said guards, I assumed she meant guards. Like the ones who stand stiffly by the gates and doorways. Not Knights. But oh well, if she sent you then I'll trust you," she replied dryly.

Jade looked over at Jefry and rolled her eyes.. " don't mind him, he was dropped as a baby.." she then walked up and down the small cabin with an act of being totally in charge.
