*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Gwen roller her eyes. "Yes. I did say that I know of him. However, I said nothing about having a riding partner. In fact, I said I DO NOT HAVE A PARTNER!" She started to pull away again, but froze. Edmund had chosen a very bad time to come after her.
Fawn chuckled. After years of doing missions for Alwick, she had become rather good at getting what she wanted out of people. She now knew that Gwen did in fact have a partner, and that he was calling her.

Edmund stopped his horse when he saw Redd's horse up ahead where Fawn had left it. He trotted his horse into the woods. "Gwen!"

Edmund sighed with relief. He dismounted quickly and hurried over to Gwen. "Gwen! I was so worried you'd run off to continue the trip alone!" He was about to embrace her when he noticed Fawn.
Fawn had a sly smile on her lips. She was still holding part of the reins.

Edmund, not the sharpest knife in the drawer, didn't take the hint. "What on earth are you talking about, Gwen? You were just with me at that youn man's cabin a few miles back," he argued.
Fawn decided to keep silent and let Edmund tell her everything she needed to know without her asking anything.

As the drug began wearing off, Emilee became more aware of things in her sleep.

Gwen rolled her eyes and started walking away.
Edmund chased after her. "Gwen, don't act like you don't know me! I'm sorry, very sorry, if what you're upset about is Emilee. Se just came along to help! She'll be fine if we leave her with that man and continue."

Fawn followed them, listening intently

Gwen ignored him and continued waking. What was he so naive? Maybe coming was a mistake, but she could go home now. And why was Fawn following her? Just because she was princess didnt mean that she could never be alone.
