*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

(100 of them? Wow.)

Kat rolled her eyes. "How do you know that these aren't just stories meant to scare a young child. Maybe you have believed these fools tales longer than necessary."
"My mother bore 736 scars, from whipping and being stabbed and slashed, from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet, on every. single. part. of her body, she endured the nobles abuse and sadism for nine years, and she was used for their sick pleasure, in the dungeons that run under this castle. They were not just stories to scare me, they were a warning, that I would not fall into the same life as she had, and die in that life of abuse and torture." She said, her eyes we're moist and she was clearly upset and angry, the memory of taking care of her mother when she was sickly, bathing her, dressing her, seeing all the scars, which she had counted over and over again over the years. "My mother and father may not have been schooled like all these high and mighty nobles, but they we're no fools..." She said, tears running down her face, which she quickly wiped away and rubbed her eyes, forcing herself to stop crying.

Kat was baffled by the nonsense that this women was speaking. "How do you know that she wasn't taken hostage by thieves. Or pirates. For all you know she could have been making up a story to cover up falling into a thorn bush!"

(sorry of that sounded harsh)

Harmony was almost at her breaking point, she wanted to lash out so badly. Then she realized it. It wasn't worth arguing over, she wasn't going to change the royals, or the past, she can only go on with her life, and hope to get to tomorrow. She composed herself, took several deep breaths, then she spoke. "You may be right, regardless, I am inclined to believe her. This does not need to be argued, I cant change what happened all those years ago, I cant change what happens now, All I can hope for is a meal and a place to sleep at night, and hope to make it to the next day." She looked Kat straight in the eyes. "Please, forgive me for taking up your time, please show me the way to the stables." She said, trying to remain composed and calm.

(Oh I dont mind at all, I like a harsher storyline, I dont like places that have this sweet nonchalant storyline where everything is happy and dandy and one sided, I like a good challenge.)

(it gets irritating at times. Reality:nothing is perfect. We need a twist.)

Kat nodded. "Follow me." She continued at a faster pace then before. Who was this women to come into her home and say those things about her king. He had never been anything but kind and generous to her. How could somebody say something so hash. And she didn't even know him!

Edmund chuckled. "I didn't think so," he replied.
Emilee suddenly awoke and sat up. "Where am I?" She nearly screamed

Linnet finally had a satisfactory enough bouquet.
(100 pages? Wow, I'm impressed. Have you checked the character page to read personalities? That may give you an idea of the people)

When they finally reached the stables after many grueling minutes of silence, when sent for the main stable keeper. "He will set you up with whatever it is you need Harm-er...Mr.?"
