*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Read tore the sleeve off of Gavin's shirt. Why waste his own? He put it on the area of the would and turned to Katrina. "I dont care who you are. Hold this." He said leaving to get a nurse.

Gwen reread the letter. Surely there was something more Linnet had written. Another envelope perhaps?

Alex shrugged. "I see no reason that is any of your concern."

Katrina did as Redd told her. By now the queen had already left to go change her gown and clean herself up. "Gavin, please, please don't leave me," she whispered. She held the cloth firmly on the wound, but it was still bleeding. Her mother had taught her enough about herbs to know what to do in cases like this. "Cayenne. Yes. Sir!" She called after Redd.
(Redd
Oh, Father. Clyde, Cliffton's horse, is missing," Edwin explained. Jane timidly looked over his shoulder at the king, whom she hadn't seen yet.

"If that is all you need, I shall be off," Maud said quietly.
(Gwen)
"Of course it is my concern," Richard snapped. "You're a banned guard yet here you are back on Alnwick soil."

Fawn dismounted hastily. She handed the reins of her horse to a stable boy.

Gavin was faintly aware of distant voices. He forced himself to open his eyes. He couldn't speak but he managed to grab Katrina's hand. Cedric was wrong. People did care. He would get through this.
---
Cedric happily rummaged through a chest and pulled out a short sword "Now that's nice" He said quietly, adding it to his sack.

Katrina breathed a sigh of relief when Gavin grabbed her hand. "Hey, I'm here with you. You're going to be fine," she said softly.

Emilee stopped to catch her breath. So. Close. She could already smell fresh bread from within the town. And then of all things that could happen, rain decided to fall along with some really big scary streaks of lightning.

That was comforting. If anyone could help, he trusted Katrina to do it. He held her hand tightly waiting dazedly for someone to do something.

Cedric crept out of the room and down the hall.

Cedric crept out of the room and down the hall.
Katrina scooted her legs up under herself to get more comfortable. The sleeve she was using to stop the bleeding was soaked at this point, so she ripped off a strip of fabric from her apron to use.
---
Emilee let a string of curses fly before stomping over to the sparse cover of a huge oak tree. It seemed she was doomed to bad luck in whatever she did.

Jane left Edwin to deal with the king. She wandered around the Great Hall for a minute then went off into a separate hallway.

Read sent a nurse in the general direction. He figured that she would hear the screaming. Hearing a crash, he went inside to investigate.

Audric crossed his arms. "What do you want me to do with that information?"

Gwen thought for a moment and scrawled a quick note. "Will you leave this for Lady Linnet?"

Alex snorted. "If you hadn't noticed, I'm not on Alnwick soil. And it wasn't banned exactly. More like sent away for a while."

Gavin breathed painfully and unevenly. Gavin moved his eyes down to his wound and tried not to gag. He tried to push himself up with his right hand but just screamed and was subdued by unconsciousness again.

Cedric put his ear up to a door. Upon hearing nothing, he entered. A prince's bedroom, he concluded. Perfect.
(Poor Cliffton. He keeps getting robbed

Redd quietly crept upon the open door, and drew his long dagger. "What are you doing in here?" He boomed.

Cedric spun around "Cleaning" He lied, turning where Redd couldn't see the dagger in his boot. He pulled a rag out of his pocket and started dusting the top of the fireplace.
