*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Maud entered, bearing the tray of tea and teacups.
---
Katrina filled up a spoon of tincture. "Here, swallow this," she said.
/-
Richard stopped at the door. "Where are you off to now?" He asked Kat
--
(Feast time?)
Mariah waited impatiently.

Elaina turned from the mirror, to Maud. "Is it tea time already?"

Kat shrugged. "Secret knightly duties." She said sarcastically.

"No, it's just I've just come from your sisters room and I have extra tea. Would you like some?" Maud said. (ELAINA)
-//
Richard rolled his eyes. "Fine, doesn't matter. I wasn't interested anyway," he joked. (KAT)
---
Katrina set the bottle and spoon down. "Now I've got to run, you stay here and rest and keep quiet," she instructed Gavin. (GAVIN)

Mariah sat down to the right of the head of the table. (AUDRIC)

Edwin reluctantly left Alena to go sit down.

Jane, lost in the maze of hallways, looked around frantically for an indication that she was close to the hall. It would definitely not be a good impression on the king if she was late.
---
Fawn went to the window and looked out. Edmund had a decent sized castle, but the land was huge and beautiful. She sat down on a bench and rested her elbow on the windowsill
---
Emilee tossed and turned in her restless sleep. The floor was hard and the room stunk.

Gavin nodded "Come back when you can" He said hoarsely.
---
Cliffton took his place at the table, staring down at his plate. He was sure his mother was still mad at him.

Katrina smiled. "Of course I will," she said, hurrying out of the room.
----
Mariah sitting up straight, looking all prim and proper and queenly, glared down the table at the princes. Edwin laughed and joked with a knight sitting next to him. He was aware of the queen's glaring, but simply ignored her

"Of course. Thank you." Elaina, always polite, replied.

Kat laughed. "Is that so?"

Audric cleared his throat. "Hello My Dear."

Alena kept glancing up at Edwin. He was so handsome. Shaking her head at her own stupidity, Alena poured wine into the glass of the man across from Edwin.

Maud carefully filled the delicate tea cup. "Do you have any plans today, Princess?" She asked.
---
"Anyway, I've got to be off," Richard said. "Important stuff, you know," he winked at Kat
---
Mariah flashed a quick smile at Audric, not necessarily a sincere one. "Where is that woman?" She muttered under her breath. She hadn't seen Jane since they met earlier, and her absence from the Hall was worrying.

Jane hurried to the end of another hallway. Where was the Great Hall?? There were no servants or people to ask help from. Everyone must be eating and serving already. Hearing voices nearby, she picked up her skirts and hurried in that direction.

(He's got a pig nose.

Edwin watched Alena, but continued talking to some knight.

Katrina watched a few different pots to make sure they didn't boil over. Her mind kept wandering to Gavin. She needed to do all she coils to prevent worsening of his wound, especially infection.
---
Edmund pushed his chair back and rose. "If you care to join me in my library, you would be most welcome," he told Peter

Being perfect, Elaina thought. "Not that I'm aware of. But you do know Mother. Always coming up with some last minute plans for a lavish feast or a tea with the Nobles."

Kat giggled, and was angry at herself for it. "Go day Sir Richard." She said shortly.

Alena caught his eye and blushed. In her distraction, she spilled some of the wine onto the lap of a noble. "I'm terrible sorry."

Peter nodded. It was the last thing he wished to do. But he should at least be polite enough for his hospitality.

:)lol: )

Maud smiled at the girl. "Will that be all, your highness?" She asked
---
Richard continued in the direction of nowhere. Pretending he had important things to do didn't seem to improve things.
--
The man gasped, indignant. Mariah immediately looked in Alena's direction to see what was the matter. Glaring at Edwin, now, she mouthed "get her out."
Edwin stopped, mid sentence, and stood up abruptly. "I shall be right back," he told the man he had been in conversation with.
---
Edmund headed thataway.
---
Jane opened the door she had heard voices from. There seemed to be no one here, but then she saw slight movement in the corner.
(Gavin?)

Elaina thought for a moment. "My hair. It is such a bother." She grumbled.

Alena fumbled around her apron for a towel. "Terribly sorry." She squeaked again, before walking swiftly out. Once in the hall, she sprinted to the empty wing of the castle, tears streaming down her face.
