*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

(Oh! Hope it's not too bad. I know the news exaggerates stuff a ton, but I'm sure it's still scary for you.)
(It's not bad where I live, but we did lose electricity for a little bit. That's why I didn't reply earlier. Some places, like St. Augustine, are really flooded. It's crazy)
(Is that some kind of new drug I should be concerned about?)
(Ah, no.
(Ah crap, you mean the hurricane. I'm an idiot. Hope you're okay, Silkster.)
:gig Yes, you're an idiot)

Pain shot through Alfrics shoulder as he rolled onto his chest and attempted to push himself to his feet. His head was swimming with blood, rushing through his ears like rivers about to burst their banks. Searching frantically for some kind of light, he reached forward and traced his hands along the wall, thumping the fist of his good arm against it as he desperately tried to re open the door.
Fawn ran her hands over the wall, feeling for a knob or anything. She remembered that this castle had secret doors and chambers throughout it, built after a siege when Edmund's father owned it. Of course, after building it all, there was never a need for them. She rapped again on the wall, hoping for a response and reason to continue searching.

"My, you seem very skilled with dancing." Arabella complimented and smiled softly as they danced. She silently wondered why a Knight would be good at dancing at all, in her experience they were usually terrible, but she didn't mind dancing with someone who didn't dance like a toddler with ADHD for once.

(My posts are so interesting and not boring at all, aren't they? I've never been good with medieval stuff, so I apologize. )
Richard smirked slightly. "And were you expecting worse?" He chuckled.
(Yes, she probably was. Because she's definitely a very easily triggered person. (I'm joking))
(careful what you say. The smallest thing can trigger me. And you don't want to see a triggered Silkie XD)

"Well...Yes, I was." Arabella admitted and laughed lightly, "But you have proven me wrong, it seems."

"I must say, I was expecting less than what you've proven of yourself so far," Richard admitted as well. "For someone who doesn't get out much, you can dance quite well," he nodded graciously.

Arabella chuckled, "Well, I danced with my sisters a lot growing up when we had nothing to do. Of course, it was just a joke, but it still counted as practice." She told him with slight humor.
