Once they were out, Lucky turned to Tanya. "Wanna go get a bite to eat? There's a really good eatin place here. Plus, you look hungry." Lucky hoped he would be able to make a friend. So far, Tanya did not seem to mind that he was a freak, with his albino eyes and coat.
"Not so fast" Alice said as she gave Tanya some sort of paste that had been put into a small jar "put this on your wing first."
Tanya: thank you. *she looked at lucky.* not now, where even is this??
"Your welcome" Alice said "this is the Island of Feathers where quail thrive away from human interference"
Tanya: there was ever such an island?? *she rubbed the stuff she was given on her wing.*
"Yep. we have our own village and everything!" Lucky said proudly.
"Yep!" Alice said "it's amazing!"
Tanya: that's unusual. I lived my life in a colony, never heard of any quiail making a village.
"I'm pretty sure we started out as a colony" Alice said, trying to remember the history of her village "You'd have to ask Tiny if you want to know more."
