The wait is FINALLY over!

My DH came in the house and stated
something is going on in the chicken
coop, well Max has been very vocal, crowing and all,
so I thought "just Max being the roo" and all, But, I did
go check the nesting boxes.....NOTHING. We left and
did some Christmas shopping and came back about
4;30. Checked the boxes, and lo and behold, there
was an egg! I suspect on of the leghorns. But, how eggicting
I can not tell you. 5 months, and the wait is over!!

OMGoodness!
I hollered for DH, he thought something
was terribly wrong! LOL, I was standing there
waiting for him to look in the box!

I still remember our first egg, the best and most expensive egg you will ever eat LOL!
