This farmhouse is old. It was built by farmers not carpenters so there's a few.....irregularities. Behind the tub wall there is a small gap, that allows access to the water pipes behind it.
Kitty, our people hater, has learned that when folks visit she can get into the wall through this opening and follow the pipes to the kitchen wall, where there is a similar opening. She can sit in the wall and watch the goings-on in the house, without anyone seeing her.
Today she learned a new trick. She sits inside the wall, watching through the gap in the wall, between the cabinets, until Jax walks by. When he does a claw suddenly shoots out and swats him. I watched Jax try to figure out where the claw is coming from, but he just can't quite figure it out. He's taken to walking a wide circle around that wall whenever he's in the kitchen.
Poor Jax. He's either going to grow up very neurotic or a serious cat hater.
