Tux took some deep breaths. The surface of the icy pond was perfect, and clean. But just one touch would cause cracks to scream down the middle. Suddenly he heard crashing through the trees.

Seeing as no one cared, Terrence continued waddling away. "Ouch. Oh, ouch. This hurts ever so badly!" he said loudly, hoping to catch someone's attention.

Tux lifted his head. "Really? You better come over here so that I can take a look."

"But that was the foot you were standing on just a minute ago." Tux said, rolling up into a ball and peering at Terrence. "Is there a reason you're pretending to be hurt?"

(By the way He's saying this gently and questioningly, not sarcastically.)
