Holy Guacamole!!! So I was putting my batch into lockdown... candled and everything. Getting ready to add water and close up the bator when I hear CHEEP CHEEP

I looked frantically to see if a chick got out of the brooder miraculously.. no, I looked down into the bator and one of the eggs was pipped

I don't think I've ever moved so fast

put the hot water in the channels and shut the lid. Oh goodness I hope it makes it! Dangit, its the tail end of the 18th day, dang overachiever Polish

Well my impossible hatch is now in lockdown, from temps of 94 to 107. Ive had a lot of "Chick Emergency" going on here lately, so hopefully these guys give me a break. There are 8 of them.

Just candled and out of 23 TJ's eggs that were set I have 7 left. All the others were clear and still 2 iffy ones in there. Saw some swimmers though.

Don't mind that I had to pull some since I have Wellie eggs that showed today, so needed the room.

Eggs in the other bator are just too dark to see through and they're about to go into lockdown.
