I have about 15 silkie mixes from my eggs. Most of them have 5 toes or 4 and 1/2 toes. None of them look like a silkie at all. They all have regular feathers and are really good looking chickens. Some have cool little top notch feathers too. I bet it turns out to be a cutie and you would never know it has silkie in it.

Here is my broody momma hen. She is half silkie and half Ameraucana

SCG: your "spot" is gorgeous! I love her. Oh and the toe thing your new little one has is totally normal if there is silkie in the mix. I had one that had 5 toes on one foot and 4 on the other, it is funny! My funky black silkie/Ameraucana mixes have 5 toes and feathered legs and lay green eggs too, they are sweethearts.

Uhhhhhhh, 4 with my left eye?, 5 with my right? I see further down you like NNs............................... can't believe you would find them attractive and Silkies not,

Your chick won't be silkie feathered; and maybe it's a Silkie/Leghorn pullet........................ it will lay 300 eggs per year and try to hatch them all.
