Missy's heart sped up, she had never felt like this before. she closed her eyes and took silent deep breaths, why did she have to like him? and why couldn't she not like anbody. she opened her eyes re contained and smiled at him. "i kind of do to." she said softly. she had a great child hood and was spoiled but she still didn't like it here. "one day, im gonna break out of here." she said without thinking. she could be banned for even thinking it let alone saying it. she didn't care, she trusted kaleb and knew he wouldn't turn her in.

Kaleb nodded. "Yeah. You know, when I was about 11, I thought up a plan to escape?" He chuckled. "Although I don't know how well it would work…" He thought about the day he took a field trip to the Amity fields and wanted to get out of the city.
 
she laughed for the first time in two years and lai dher head back, "my dad used to tell me stories about all the monsters out there, and i would be standing by the fence when he would scare me, i screamed so loud. but i just wanted to go out there, and my dad made up an excuse. he was amazing." she said thinking of him.her dad had died when she was 12 and left her with her older brother, until he switched to erudite. she looked to kaleb, "im nothing like him though and f he saw me today he would be dissapointed in me." she said looking to the ground.

"I don't think he would be disappointed in you. He should be proud to have you for a daughter." Kaleb smiled.
 
Missy scoffed, "yeah because im some great accomplishment, right?" she said looking to the ground, her dad had died hating her, because she had done something wrong. "i don't get why you and sam are my friends, i didn't do anything to deserve you guys, in fact i did the opposite." she said.

"We've all done bad things. It doesn't make you a bad person." He shrugged.
