Reddust looked around and found some burdock roots she ran over quickly and dug it up.she then chewed it up and walked over to Sunrise. He spat it on his wounds." Burdock root. It will help heal it and keep it from getting infected." She said with a smile on her face.

Reddust looked at the bird. She sometimes wished she could run or even fly away from her problems and troubles in life. She stood up and nugged Sunrise. She then turned around and disseppered into her den.

Sunrise watched her go. He lay his head on his paws, ears droopy. He looked up at the sky, hoping it would rain. Thunder rolled in the distance. It started to rain hard. Sunrise heaved himself up on his feet, and slipped in the mud. He stood up, and walked towards a large rock with a small cave carved inside. He sat there, soaking wet, bloody, weak, and muddy. Sunrise slowly began to lick his paw.

Reddust had watched from her den what had happened. She heaved herself up and jumpedinthe cave with him. She layed beside him, tying to at least comfort him.

Sunrise looked down at Reddust. "Umm, R-Reddust," he began, "I- err, wanted to ask you something," he said, his face turning red.
