Firefly froze, his eyes wide. He gave out a nervous laugh. He started to walk, but slipped and fell face forward into the mud. "Why me?" he asked himself, embarrassed.

"Or the mud needs to stop getting in my face," said Firefly. He shook off the mud, and looked at Hollyleap.He grinned, his cheeks turning pink.

She smiled and licked his cheek, then took off into the forest, waiting for him to follow.

Firefly froze again when she licked his cheek. His heart beat fast. He stood there for a moment, then followed Hollyleap. When he walked up to her, he looked at her shyly, then licked her cheek quickly.

She smiled. "I love you" she whispered quietly, then took off to the top of a rock.

Firefly fell over. His cheeks were red. His heart beat fast. He stood up and dashed off after her. "I have a really big crush on you," he blurted out.
