Firefly laughed happily. He licked her cheek again, and nuzzled her.

"Hollyleap," he began, "will you, err, be my, umm," his voice trailed off. "Never mind," he said, his cheeks turning pink again

"Just come out and say it!!" he laughed.

"Willyoubemymate?!" he blurted out, making it sound like one word. He looked down at the ground, pawing it. His entire face was red.

She began to laugh. "Yes, I'll beyourmate"

Firefly looked up at her, stunned. He thought that she would never say yes. His jaw dropped. "I don't think I've ever been so happy before," he said quietly.
