Gen punched the air. Wind blew in her face and took out the elastic in her ponytail, and her red hair excitedly blew around, seemingly as happy as the girl it was attached to at being free. Death was so much cooler than life.

Gen made a face as she raked her fingers through her hair, digits catching on snarls. That was not going to be fun to comb out. Oh well. She perched in a tree. Hopefully, she mused, those girls hadn't attracted too much attention in class. People could think they were talking about books or movies or something, but still.
