Almost any movie made from a book that I've already read. The exception to that would be Prince of Tides which they did a good job on....still not as good as the book but good nevertheless. My worst disappointment was Where the Wild Things Are. My favorite childrens' book of all time and that movie totally ruined it for me.

Some of the movies listed as worst, are movies I've liked. But keep in mind, I have a collection of 1950's B horror movies. You know the ones, all about the giant, man-eating, mutant ______ fill in the blank with pretty much anything. My favorites? THEM! (ants) & Monolith Monsters (rocks... yes I said rocks).

So I liked Tremors and Jurassic Park & Jeepers Creepers. Some really well made movies were also mentioned as bad; Brokeback Mountain, Deliverance. Actually I was okay with Titanic and rather enjoyed it up until the end. I cannot believe she threw that blue diamond into the sea. My then DIL said, "wasn't that romantic?". NO, it was stupid, give it to your Granddaughter.

Some of the movies that I hated...

Eyes Wide Shut
Moulin Rouge
The Ring = we were fooled into thinking it was the end about 4 times. Hated that movie.

I don't watch anything with Will Farrell, Eddie Murphy, Jim Carrey, Russell Crowe, Ben Stiller or Adam Sandler.

Well, at the top of my list is Joe versus the Volcano. I think that was the first movie I ever walked out of. Some of the others I would have named are already on the list, so I won't repeat. What is just as bad to me is all the stupid reality shows that are on TV now. I mean...really? you have to make a show about repo guys? Dog the Bounty Hunter? Not to mention Real Housewives of where ever? Bridezillas? Come on! Is all this reality crap going to last forever (like sagging jeans on teenage boys)? Thank heaven for TiVo! I can record the few shows that are fit to watch and zip through the commercials! I love it! Then I can read or go watch chicken porn!
