I'm getting from a hen that I have here in the office with me right now.
She was acting a bit off last night, so I brought her in and put her in the isolation crate. The crate is here in the office so that the dog and the cats can't harrass her.
She hasn't made a peep, but the stinkeye speaks volumes.

I will release her from her "captors" in a few minutes.

I brought my roo in the other night, as the girls have ganged up on his tail. He was not happy to be picked up and carried anywhere, for any reason. I placed him in a pet Porter for the night, after the required bath & ointment was applied. He gave me dirty stink eye looks for 48 hours while we awaited the feather Drying and bluekote. lol
when I released him to the coop, he stretched as big as he could get, flapped his wings at me from acrossed the coop.

So I understand the stink eye for the very first time.

Yep, people ask me to describe stinkeye and I can't. It's something you just have to see.

I hear ya, I wish you could explain to them that you are actually trying to take care of them. Sometimes if I bribe them with the right stuff, the stink eye disappears... for a minute or two.
