Cockerel
My Wyandottes are 32 weeks old, and two had combs no where near that size until two weeks ago, and two still have barely even pink combs. So, definitely a cockerelDo you notice any difference in his feathering from the pullets that I may not be noticing? Also when should I expect to start hearing the crow lol?
thanks! I was pretty sure my Blue was cockerel, I just hadn't thought to double check until today. I'm excited to see how things work out with him.My Wyandottes are 32 weeks old, and two had combs no where near that size until two weeks ago, and two still have barely even pink combs. How long till wyandottes lay?
I'd like to find some decent blacks as well ... and buffs, and silver-penciled, and partridge ... all varieties that have been in the SoP for over a century but are now about as easy to find as hens' teeth. I was looking at Sandhill's catalog the other week, and they list black, buff, and silver-penciled but no comment on quality.does anyone have any black wyandottes that are not of BBS lines?
