The Wyandotte Thread

I haven't had any trouble with the fertility with my silvers. I have heard much about the fertility being low though. Here are some of the chicks I hatched out from my silvers a few months ago. So far pretty happy with what I have gotten :).

Managed to take a couple of shots of our Salmon Wyandotte and Splash red laced? I just love this breed!

Our Roo. :)

One of his hens :)

The salmons taken earlier this year, just love these gorls they make me think of French Can Can ladies with their frilly frocks :)

and the salmon Roo with his ladies...

My Pretty CW Chicken Patty....the only one who hasn't started laying yet!!! Still Waiting......you'd think she'd feel bad since Everyone else is laying!!! haaa

Just wanted to share a picture of my younger roo. He's really grown in the last month, really come "out of his shell" since I got rid of my Splash boy. I love how much darker he is than his dad too! (that's one of his sisters in front of him)

Rodger is finally growing his tail back in,hopefully it'll be fuller when it's all in.

HAD to share this one too... this poor girl isn't even a year old until March and already going through a molt?!

Question: I have 4 5 1/2mo. olds- 1 GLW pullet, 1 BLRW pullet, 1 BLW roo & 1 BLRW roo. the big black boy is beating up on the other roo. :barnie I acquired 5 "rescue" White Rock hens that I plan on putting in with the Wyandottes. Will that help or hurt matters between the 2 roo's? :fl :idunno
