Also recieved some of his SP and Partridge Bantams...

Anybody here know much about breeding SP? The females have almost a brassy look to them. Any ideas on fixing that? These cuties are the new project for 2013. Any one else starting projects or have one going?

He is giving them to every one. My roo has a lot of gold leakage and white on his breast. I guess you breed them and pick the best to breed forward.

Yeah, he is spreading them around. It's good, maybe they will gain in popularity.
The cockerel he sent has alot of white too. I read about a guy that crossed them on a smaller LF and it cleared up the penciling. He said surprisingly the first hatch from the cross were small and the next hatch he got some medium then they went down to bantam size again. Improved the type and cleared up the penciling. May give that a go....

That pullet looks like the one he showed me the other week. He showed one like that at the Lucusville, OH show.

And I got a trio of the SP too. They do seem to have some brassyness, But that might go away. mine just feathered into their juvinille feathers. look about as yours. but they was barred before that. might changed later? Idk.
Its new to him too.

Working on a free project for class and thought I would share. Been wanting to do a picture like this for a long time. Still have a lot to do until it is finished.

I did something just like this, DMRippy has it. I put it on a darker, rougher paper( By recommendation from my teacher) Total mistake. LOL.
Could have turned out more like this.
