The Wyandotte Thread

Anyone hear from Jim in any way the last week ? (HallFamilyFarm)

I paid him for hatching eggs 3 weeks ago - and haven't received them - he did mention a while ago he got stuck in the mud .... but then nothing from him.

I'm not hatching - I'm at the mercy of a friends incubator - and my time is ticking to get my eggs in ... I've wanted AK blues for well over a year .....

Thanks all.

I have a 16 week-old wyandotte pullet who started limping badly about three weeks ago. It seemed to get better after a few days but now it's got worse again. Her left foot doesn't seem injured at all and she seems otherwise healthy, but she is hopping badly and sitting down as much as she can. See the video. Any clues as to what this could be?

That looks like Mareck's disease to me.

Jubilee?  I do have Jubilee Orps.  SS might be the same colors and pattern but no where near the same type.  Orps types are closer.

Rofl. Yes jubilee. Thanks auto correct. Yeah I know they are closer type for sure. But either way you're going to have some fun getting them back to yellow feet and rosecomb lol.

Rose comb is dominated and yellow legs are recessive so bot should be easy.
