The Wyandotte Thread

Here are two of mine the one on the right I'm pretty sure is a cockerel the one on the left I'm thinking pullet. They are 8 weeks old

Ok mine are similar to this. So I'm now thinking i have a pullet and crooked beak is a roo. His color is like this one one the right. Although your are much prettier. Mine are not "show" chickens from some amazing lines, lol. Just chickens from a feed store lol.

Here's some pics of Tina and her chicks...these were taken thru a chicken wire pen in the coop.

Here's where you find food.....

Pan was filled with "natural" grit....

Day 6 she got most of them out of the coop...I had to "help" two of them who couldn't figure out the ramp I cobbled together for them. LOL

Then my wife got home and took some decent pictures....

The two yellow ones are Blue Partridge Brahmas and the three little chipmunks are Wyandottes....Any help on what color of Wyandotte would be appreciated!! Sorry about all the pics but we are kinda tickled with the little buggers.

Tina is a good Mom...so fun to watch her show the chicks what to eat. Really glad I got a small bag of chick feed!
thats exactly what i was thinking ..you can see her teaching them in the pics ..she must be a real good mom..and i love moms coloring..shes a beuatiful looking bird..oh and congrats on the little ones..

Haha! Yea ours are pretty flighty things. ..complete opposites of our buff orpingtons. But theyre not mean and they will let us catch them, so good enough for me:)
