Do you sell your eggs and where?Checking in....the pullet eggs will get larger in a few weeks. The girls will lay about every third day for a while but that can increase to 4 to 5 eggs a week.
My older hens are finally getting back to laying after their molt. I don't use lights in winter. Out of 11 hens in the CW pen, I'm now getting 3 eggs a day. The White W are giving 2 to 3 a day from 5 hens.
The layer flock (which includes Wyandotte , Australorp and Sexlink) is laying 6 to 10 eggs a day from 20 hens and the bantams are sharing 6 eggs a day from the 19 that are not brooding eggs or chicks. Even the pheasant are back to laying...getting 6 to 8 eggs from 8 hens...highly unusual timing for them.
