Ok thanks! I got these ones from blue poultry and some im growing out now from Foley's. I cant wait to start getting some eggs. I know I have some roo's in the bunch thou.

guys i got a problem. my faince doesnt understand raising chickens. shes filipino. this is her ideal of raising chickens. that to me this isnt even thinkable. as it is im not going b able to kill them to eat them. my babys r spoiled.

WOO HOO Little pat on the back here. I got grand champion of large fowl in both shows today at Tuscaloogoo show. Also Got reserve large fowl.

Then my silkie got reserve featherleg in one show, and Champion featherleg in other show, and received third overall champion. I was so excited.
Alright just had to tell everyone. thanks.

Chickenlady ~ you've got some beautiful birds but there are several BLRW, both hens and cockerels. Not sure which one you were asking about!

Congratulations Tony!!! I would love too see pics too. How can you tell if your silkies are pure bred when you get them from someone that is not sure if they are or not. My rooster has red cone and red around face and so does two of the hens but another hen has red cone and blue around face. Thanks for any info on this.
