Just a little update on a few things!

I am sitting down and judging the contest right now. I might get it done. I really apologize. Because of the loooong wait, I have decided that the for category winners get a drawing of theur chicken done by me.

Nug Nug WAS a hen and Downy WAS a rooster. How ever at almost tgree months old we had gnats come suddenly. They were fine that morning, went out that afternoon to lock everyone up and they were both dead. I assume suffocation. Tge next day Boots, one hen from flock 2, died of what I believe to be blood loss.

Because of the death I got 12 eggs feom my friend who took Soldier. They got a couple splash hens for him to go along with the babies I hatched so I should get some blue chicks. I also ordered 12 white possible frizzle cochin bantam eggs from EBay. They came in today with no broken eggs and only 5 detatched air cells. I'm pretty happy! I think I'll do one category a night on the contest. For 3 roosters it took ne forever.

Pretty good! I have 11 chicks in the house for Chipmunk and his hen. I think I might have 5 hens. Then my broody accidently hatched 6 eggs but I'm supposed to be getting rid of those and a roo tommorow.

Nice! I've had 7 out of 15 broody in the past 2 months and I'm having a hard time keeping the eggs out from under the two right now.
