TheCluckyClucker's flock thread

Sorry SP. This is taking me forever. I have had lots of homework. Lately I have been home 1-2 nights a week. Other than weekends. And I was not always home on those. Now I am sick. Yuck. But I have new baby pictures! I going to try and get a picture of Nug Nug's wings.

Chick update!
Downy, who is most definitely a boy. He tries to crow some mornings. He is not as pretty as Nug Nug in my opinion. I still have not figured out if he is Sebright x Cochin or Sebright x OEGB.

Nug Nug, who I am 99.9% sure is female. She is more skittish and laid back. But she loves me more. If I dont let them out for a day or two, when I open the lid she jumps out, runs over, then jumps on me. She's has a lacing pattern. Still not sure what mix she is. If anyone needs more pictures, I can get them.

So cute! I'm gonna say Sebright X OEGB because of the clean legs

That is what I would think. And maybe they are. But Downeys comb popped up SUPER early. And they had NO chipmunk striping as chicks. They also seem to be developing a Cochin tail and leg poof. Only time will tell I suppose.

I had a busy day today! First I got rid of Soldier. He went to a friend of mine. He'll love it there. Before he went, my friend came over and we bathed him and sat with him for a while. Then we crated him and took them home. He immediatly began pecking and scratching. Then, since they took him and have no Cochin Bantam hens, I stuck a few eggs in the bator for them. She only wants 3-4 hens for him, but she can always sell the extra. Now youre probably confused. If I stuck 3 eggs in the bator, how would she have any to sell? Because I made a mistake. I said a few. I meant 21.
