I'm so sorry, how'd she die? One of my 8 week old black Australorps got killed by a snake, that is the most common cause of death past 6 weeks old for me, right after I add them to the older flock.

not sure. She got sick and I tried everything that I could and nothing worked. I am just glad whatever it was didn't infect the rest of my crew since they are all the same age. She was my daughters favorite though so she wants me to get another one this spring.

So far we do not have an entry in the cockerel or pullet category.

I will post mine just have to see what I can find for good pictures. is there a limit on how many you can enter? I have no clue how mine are for their breeds but I sure think they are pretty.
